Brocade & Brocade

A few days ago I did it again.
Black trousers Mossimo - Black tank top Da Moda - Off white brocade jacket Sawary
Dumped all of my cardigans and blazers on the bed
and one by one hung them back in the closet, choosing
which would go on trial.
Black cap flats Zara - Brocade bag Trina
This off white brocade jacket was one of them.
I absolutely adore brocade even though deep inside
I know I could probably upholster a sofa with it and add matching curtains.
However, today I made up my mind and as much as I love the fabric,
the jacket has got to go. I cannot button it up and its short.
For its last appearance I thought it would only be fair
to pair it with yet another brocade item, a bag.

That's a good reason to let the jacket go. I also have a brocade jacket (just one, in gold) and I totally love it!

So great you go through them all and decide which should stay. It does look lovely on you!

I'm a sucker for brocade too. This jacket is just okay, not a WOW piece. Love the bag!

That handbag is a work of art. Love, love, love!!! I wildly adore brocade, too. I would have been right at home back in the Tudor era! :D

Many hugs,

I definitely had a brocade phase - which isn't to say I don't still like it, but I would probably prefer it on a vintage sofa...

I love brocade also. Over time things have to go. Understand.
