I had seen it several times.
Extra large houndstooth print skirt Forever 21 - Black sweater - Black patent pumps Vince Camuto - Black tote Michael Kors - Black Baroque sunglasses Prada |
Wether it was on on the F21 website, in the store,
on other blogs, in pictures of girls wearing it at local FW:
its the extra large houndstooth print skirt.
When I saw it I automatically loved it,
after all it is my favourite print.
Its timeless and has a vintage vibe.
While I am totally aware its a midi,
having second thoughts on the length as
I feel it kinda swallows me up being the short
person I am…
What's your take on it ?
Shorten an inch or two or just let it be ?

I actually like the length! It offsets the print well. If it was shorter I think the print might be too much, if that makes sense, hah :)

I like the length - I think a more fitted (and shorter) sweater would suit the bottom shape better. You look awesome in this!
I really like the length on you! I say keep it as is :)
However, if you're not 100% comfortable with it, maybe try pinning it up at home and try it on in a few outfits and see if you do prefer it shorter?

I think the length is divine :) It's a beautiful classic look.

I think the length is incredibly flattering on you. Midis look great on almost everyone, short gals like us included, and they're my go-to hem length whenever possible.
This skirt is fabulous! I would rock it in a heartbeat, too, especially since, as you touched on, it has a chic vintage-y vibe to it.
Many hugs,

I always feel like I need to have things above the knee, but I think the midi looks nice and plays into the vintage feel. Of course you can always wear it for a while and then in a few years shorten it and make it feel like a new skirt again.
