I have a purple vintage dress.
Vintage dress - Fergalicious beige pumps |
As most things in my closet,
it's not worn much.
Not only do I forget about its existence but, since it is
body hugging, sometimes it doesn't fit.
However, these days it fits - so I thought I'd wear it.
As one of my main goals in the blog is to wear things differently every time,
I chose to add something to it...
Another long forgotten item from my closet:
a purple velvet jacket.
I was inspired after seeing SJP wear her velvet jacket with a dress.
I found this on People Style Watch's December 2013 - January 2013 issue.
Something I had never done before - at least not that I can remember.
SO I paired these two together and I think they actually worked.
I tend to pair velvet jackets with jeans or dress trousers...

So, this was a newbie for me.
How about you ?
How do you wear your velvet jackets ?

Holy cow, Lorena! LOVE!! Seriously gorgeous!
I have no velvet jackets, but if I did, I'd want it to be this gorgeous shade of purple too!
