This vintage shirt was one of the many items sent to me by my great aunt.
She's been vintage-spoiling me for a while now by handing
down many of her clothes.
Zora Fashion grey pleated skirt - Vintage shirt no brand - Grey scoop neck t shirt One Step Up - ISOLA burgundy flats - Blue patent Zara bag |
She is almost 90 and lived most of her life in New York and
each bag is a mystery.
This embroidered shirt was in one of the last bags I received.
It's falling apart and a little tight but I love it.
I layered it because the fabric is thin with tiny holes.
The collar is also ripped, which is why I am wearing a sideways ponytail
in order to disguise it.
Grey ceramic ring - Fake pearl and rhinestone earrings - Vintage blouse - Blue patent Zara bag - Burgundy ISOLA flats |
I know many of you would probably pass it on with all mentioned above.
But, there is just something about it that makes it an interesting item
to hold on to...
I wonder what year it is.

I think you look so absolutely adorable in that skirt, you look about 10 years old but not in a bad way! Lovely.
What an interesting shirt. I love vintage clothes, especially ones with a personal connection. Good for you to salvage this piece.
Your skirt is really cute, too.
i love that you are being vintage spoiled! and i love that you are wearing your hair to hide the imperfections in the blouse. hehe.
Chic on the Cheap
The detail on the blouse is gorgeous. I love how you have styled the entire outfit...you've given me an idea with the skirt. I have one almost like it and I think I need to wear it soon. Also like the larger photo.
Es monísima. Bsinos.
Love your skirt!!! Thanks for your comment!!! Start following you on GFC, hope you'll do the same!!! xoxo

Love the lace detailing of your vintage top! As for the torn collar, it can be remedied with a needle and thread and problem solved. ;)
it is beautiful! and i am glad you held on to it!
i have some old jewelry that is missing pieces, parts, etc. most would throw it out, but i hold on to it. sometimes things that are less than perfect mean the most to us!
La falda es preciosa le sacaría muchísimo aprtido! xx
