I love butterflies.
They represent change into something better.
They are strong enough to fight their way out of the cocoon
but are still gentle to the touch.
Today I wore two of mine.
M Studio Dress / H&M Cardigan / Liz Claiborne Bag / Avon bracelet/
Butterfly earrings (gift from mom)/ Butterfly brooch (self made)
I do not collect butterflies but they do have a special place in my heart.
Deep inside, I am still fighting my way out of a cocoon.

Love the black and grey with that bright bag.
And I also love butterflies. I had a huge collection in high school.

They are beautiful creatures and an inspiring metaphor. I'm sure some day soon you'll be floating around in colorful splendor!
I looove butterflies! And yours are precious. Did you make the brooch yourself? So pretty!
P.S.: Thank you so much for the tip about my mini Christmas tree - I think it will look lovely dangling from my phone or my purse (I might have to make another one...).
That bag adds the perfect pop of color! And your butterflies are too cute! Great metaphor!
I love how you've described their symbolism; i've not really considered them in that respect. But, it's quite true. And the little earrings are so cute.
Chic on the Cheap
Oh your brooch is so beautiful and it looks divine against the blue-green cardigan. I'd never thought about the metamorphosis of a caterpillar into butterfly in human terms before, but you're so right, so many women are fighting to get out of the cocoon and flutter those wings:) xo
i love your yellow bag. i think i want it!
and i am SHOCKED that i am saying/writing this, but i love your green nails, too! i never would have thought i would like that color on nails, but it looks super on you!
what a cute cardigan! and the yellow bag gives a little twist to the outfit. Very nice :)
This outfit is adorable!! I love how you added the cute factor with the butterfly!
