As the year ends

Black trousers - Grey bow blouse Go International

Black perforated flats Nine West

Red leather hand bag satchel

I see everyone is quite excited that 2020 is coming to an end. For me it's nonsense, it will be the same as 2020, at least for a year...

I don't mean to be pessimistic, but more of a realist.

While I do hope things will get better, I have just begun to understand that things will not go back to the way they use to be.

What a fun blouse and you know I love the big red bag! :)

I was glad 2020 was over - while I wasn't expecting a lot of different things from 2021 at least it brought the possibility of a more unsurprising year! Really hoping things get under control this year and lockdowns are a thing of the past - we had our second lock down a few weeks ago but it was only 3 days and it's all back to normal now with few restrictions, phew!

How could we possibly have ever thought this might be over in a month or two? I'm really hoping we'll be able to have small gatherings, allow people in our homes and do some in-province travel by August or September. I'm hopeful for my birthday this October. What a strange time...

I am glad 2020 is done though and even though the changing of the year is symbolic, it does feel like a fresh start. I'm more of a realist/pessimist too, Lorena. :)

Such a chic outfit!

This is such a great professional look, Lorena. I love your ruffled tie blouse! I am going through the same stage with my hair (trying to accept and make peace with the natural color). I like your ponytail, it looks chic and easy. Also, just loved your messy updo a few posts back! Your natural curls are beautiful! Stay safe and take care.

I agree. I don't think it's going to magically go back to normal, but I'm hopeful for some positive change!

That red leather bag is the best.

No, I think it will be much like 2020, only we'll at least see a glimmer of light at the end. I am hoping for an October or December party. I can wish!
