Koret

Black trousers Zara
Black blazer Gabe style from Theory

Mini tote bag Salvatore Ferragamo, similar off white

Nude patent pumps Flexi

Koret vintage turquoise green flower and perfume print button shirt

Oval turquoise gold ring, similar here, here

This perfume and flower print vintage blouse is made by the vintage label Koret. I saw this shirt in a second hand shop and immediately put it into my shopping cart.

I thought I would sell it. Then I got home, washed it and began to do research. Happens Koret was a brand that started at the end of the 30's and has a lot of history to the point it was purchased in the 70's by Levis Strauss. While I don't think this shirt is that old, I am guessing about 30 years old.

So I kept it, I lend it to my 101 year old great aunt for her birthday and afterwards I have been styling it different ways.

Had you heard of Koret before?

Although I haven't heard of the brand it's a nice shirt and I can see why you kept it :)

Hope that you are having a nice weekend :)

Yup, I've seen Koret in the thrift stores - it's usually a little too old-lady-ish for me, but I love this colourful blouse. How awesome that your 101-year-old aunt wore it!
