I like to think that every day we must learn something new. Any thing, but some thing. Today I learned about a brand I had never heard of: Maurizio Pecoraro.
A few weeks ago I saw this skirt and the moment I touched it I knew it was of superb quality. Regardless of the brand (as it should be) I brought it home with me just because I liked it.
After some extensive research I realised this skirt is max 20 years old, as it was just in 1998 that Maurizio Pecoraro first came out with a collection under his name after having worked with Mugler, Versace and Valentino Roma. His work is amazing and it only keeps getting better.
It's a beautiful skirt, and I love the yellow knit with it! :) I've never heard of the brand, but there are so few fashion brands I know! It's always interesting reading other blogs and seeing the brands they are wearing, my wardrobe is pretty high street / chain store!

This outfit is gorgeous. Yellow really suits you. Lise
ReplyDeleteIt is so exciting when you "discover" a new designer! Here's the link to Vogue's online galleries of all of his collections (only going back to 08-09): http://www.vogue.it/en/shows/show/collections-fall-winter-2017-18/maurizio-pecoraro?refresh_ce=
ReplyDeleteI hope you find it! I'm kicking myself today for not buying two dresses that I tried on after work and loved - I'm going back today, wish me luck they are still there!
I love this skirt and the way you styled it to highlight the yellow in the print. Plus your two toned pumps are perfect!
ReplyDeleteI have not heard of him, but what is better than a unique vintage find which fits you perfectly?!
