Butterflies on Sleeves

White trousers Red Valentino - Pink blazer Poetry, similar under 20.00 USD here and here - Nude patent heels Flexi

Blue and green sequin butterfly pins, similar here
Grey bag Ferragamo - Belt H&M - Periwinkle cut top Forever 21
Yes, I know, I have been wearing this pink blazer over and over. Happens I am trying to get it out of my system. You see, I've been wanting to get rid of it for a while now but then I suddenly think of a new way to style it and it stays. What I don't like about it is the fit. I bought this blazer during a trip to NYC in February 2012 for 20.00 USD, with today's outfit it's been worn a total of 15 times, about 1.33 USD per wear.
Today, for the final wear (I think) I thought I'd add some butterfly sequin pins on the sleeves...
Is there any item you've been wanting to get rid of but for some reason are still holding on to ? What is it ?

Oh no! I'll be sad to see this blazer go, as you know it reminds me of my blush blazer and I always get inspired when I see you wear yours! I love the butterfly pins, a really nice touch to your outfit! :)

I probably hold onto things a little longer than I should sometimes. When I had the wardrobe detox session I was told a lot of my clothes looked dated, worn or just no longer fit right, haha! I keep things as they are sentimental and that blinds me to the fact that I rarely wear them or that they haven't aged well!

Hope that you are having a good week so far! Busy week here for me now that I'm back at work after my break.

I love the colour of this blazer, but yes, the cut isn't the best. It looks like the waist is too high on you - you need a deeper stance on the lapel, I think. I'd just keep an eye out for a replacement in the same colour, because the colour is the best part.

Love the blue blouse - Forever 21??

I get attached to some of my Fluevogs, even though I don't wear them that much...sigh.

How brilliant to add these butterflies to the sleeves like this!!

I love the different ways you try things before getting rid of it. You give it a chance.

Those colors will be trendy combination in the spring-summer season. Looks great. But details dont impress me (honestly).
