Black trousers Mossimo, similar - Light blue top Rachel Roy, similar here and here - Black silk tank top vintage
Grey bag Ferragamo - Black flats Nine West - Black pom pom necklace, similar here

I picked up this light blue Rachel Roy top in a yard sale in December. The yard sale had about 6 racks full of clothes that were in excellent condition in fact some had original tags on. While I browsed the racks, the owner of the clothes came by and I began to ask her for prices. This top was just 1.00 USD, since it was such a steal I did not try it on. It's a little big so I've had to layer it or wear it backwards and am not sold on it. So, off it goes, at 0.33 cents per wear it was worth the try.

I have to remind myself when I hesitate to get rid of a piece that doesn't work: I only paid X for it! Good for you for chucking this top. It's FINE, but not WOW, and you deserve WOW!

It's a pretty blouse, Lorena. It doesn't seem that it would be that hard to alter it a little smaller....granted if you don't do that yourself, it will cost, but it could be worth it??

I would have done the same at that price, and I've done the same when things have been a little more expensive too, haha! I figure if it's less than $5 it's worth trying. Although I have returned some less than $5 pieces if they didn't work out, ha!
