If there is an item I refuse to spend money on its socks. I have like 5 pairs and never, ever wear them. Maybe if I am sick or the a/c is too cold at night or maybe with sneakers out for a walk. But none of those happen often.

Hahah, I can't say that about socks, as I rely on them pretty heavily staring now through april (or may - the cold is unrelenting some years). But they are certainly not something I enjoy spending money on.

Bags and purses. I really don't care about them - I prefer function over form, and I wear pretty much the same bag every day. I'll use the same bag over and over for years! I only ever use a little bag or different bag for a special occasion.

Straight A Style
While I rarely need socks for 9 months of hte year, I wear them a lot of winter when I'm wearing boots. I wouldn't say I spend a lot of them, I only just had to start replacing the last set I bought about 10 years ago, ha! I still do spend money on them.

I like thick socks for when it's cold and for plane rides. My husband loves spending money on socks, but he likes to get funky, comical socks.
ReplyDeleteAlthough I like jewelry, I hate spending money on it. Pretty much all my jewelry is gifted. I just don't like to spend money on jewelry because I think the pieces are pretty but then I never wear them.
I can totally agree with you on socks. Workout gear is another one fore me - I'm just going to get sweaty and gross anyway so why should I care? :-)

Sneakers! I only have a pair of converse and another one to workout. The only reason I got a new pair for the gym (a few years ago) was because the ones I had were about to talk to me lol. I rather spend my money on flats, heels and sandals.

ReplyDeleteMe too - socks. No therefore I dont use them, but I threat it like no important, no visible, no trendy part of stricte casual outfit, mainly in home (in Poland is 1 degree now outside, so in home there is only 21). Socks are functional, no other function.
