Colour block dress AA Studio - Nude heels Sam Edelman - Brown Madison tote bag Coach |
Another re wear, this time the colour block dress. As I said in the last post I wore it, it is a superb dress, however the thick fabric seems to be piling. From afar it works but when looked upon closely, it does not. While I'm considering hand washing it and using a sweater comb to remove the piling, if this does not work, there is no use in keeping a garment that only looks good from a distance.

I totally agree - I notice that kind of wear and pilling and it drives me crazy. I don't care how good it looks in a picture (and this dress by the way, looks AWESOME on you), but if it's wearing poorly from cut or fabric, then it's got to go.
ReplyDeleteIt's so frustrating when a beautiful piece starts to wear like that! I really hope you are able to get rid of the pilling because it's a gorgeous piece!
ReplyDeleteOh no! I hope you are able to restore it as it does look so good on you! It just goes to show though how pictures really don't capture everything!

I hate piling! It's such a bummer. I hope the sweater comb works, because it's so cute and looks great on you.

I wonder if a fabric shaver would work? It's such a pretty dress. I love the colors.
