Back in 2011 during a vacation I picked up several pieces at a Forever 21 store in Miami. This swallow print kimono cardigan was one of them. In 6 years, its been worn just 6 times. The CPW is 3.80 USD and never have I felt it looks amazing or even good. Below you can see previous wears. I've made up my mind and it makes no sense to hold on to it. Would you hold on to it ?
I like it belted, the way you've worn it here, but if you are not feeling it, it's got to go! It is a weird beige-y/pinky/peachy colour - not the greatest on you, either. You look beautiful in rich colours - this is too bland for you. Toss it!
ReplyDeleteI actually really love it and would keep it but if you aren't feeling it then, yeah, it's definitely got to go. Life's too short to wear things that don't make you feel good!

You know I'd keep it as I have a serious kimono problem, haha! This way with it belted is my favourite way you've worn it, the belt is perfect with it. I really need to try change up the way I wear my kimonos more, I don't belt them often.

ReplyDeleteI've been seeing lots of kimonos lately, and I can understand that when something is having a trendy moment, and you have that item, you want to wear it, but if you don't think it's working and doesn't make you feel good, then there is no point in holding on!
