The J.Jill pleated skirt

Years ago the word "love" would have never been associated with a skirt.
I just simply did not wear them or dresses for that matter.
I didn't even like them.
J.Jill pleated silk skirt - Green silk flats Seychelles - Brown tote bag Coach - Blue top Mossimo
The fact that I now own more dresses than trousers today
is living proof that our style evolves, or at least mine.
When I put this skirt on this morning, it was with the sole objective
to give it one last try, because I never wear it and its a little tight
at the waist. Also, because when I have worn it, well, I've never
been quite sold on how it looks.
For a change, today I thought it looked ok. Just ok.
So, I am having second thoughts.
See below how it has been worn before.
What do you think ?

2011                                                               2016

Is this a keeper ... or not ?

I think its a lovely skirt; prefer it with top worn outside, instead of tucked in...as per the other pics. :)

I'd say time for it to go. If you don't really love it, and are not filled with glee when you put it, then it doesn't deserve to take up place in your closet!

I think it's such a pretty skirt on you and looks lovely, but if you just feel okay in it, you're always going to pass over wearing it in favour of another skirt, so I agree with Sheila. Doesn't make sense to keep something you're not in love with!

Fantastic outfit! Skirts are a perpetual favourite of mine. I wear them all year round, but especially in the fall and winter, when they make for such great layering pieces. I really like the gentle, almost country (in an American context) colour palette at work here. So pretty!

While I do like today's look best of all, I feel like items that have tons of prints and colors (especially bottoms) can be huge style challenges. If you are so-so, let it go.
