Inspired by: Brooch the subject

When I came across this article focusing on how
brooches are back for Fall 2015, I knew I had a lot
to look forward to and plenty of resources to work with...

Wild Girl printed trousers - White Suzie Shier jacket - Black flats Sam Edelman - Black tank
The article showcases amazing pieces worn during F/W2015
runways and suggests creative ways to style them such as
pinning several ones on a bag and creating a story, adding
them to your hair and using playful like pieces like this one:

I chose the latter: a childlike playful piece.

Specifically a doll hair pin worn as a brooch on my lapel.

Will you be adding brooches to your looks ?
Or are they still dated in your book ?

My friend bought me a brooch and it is lovely - but I confess I'm not really sure how to wear it! I've worn it once, for a challenge, but I don't see a lot of opportunities to wear it day to day. I tend to go for necklaces or bracelets if I want a statement piece :)

"Playful" always works in my book!

That is always fun when something comes back, and you can embrace a new way of wearing it. A few years ago I was pinning a small collection of broaches to my jeans... maybe I'll try that again.

Ha, I've always worn brooches! I didn't even know they were "out."
