Seems like a Monday

After a few days off, today certainly feels like a Monday.

Red short sleeve jacket Best Jeans - grey flats Zara - Be Bop Dress
It took me forever to get out of the house this morning as I had not prepared
what to wear last night... so I tried on garment after garment and not
being happy with the results, just kept on looking for more.

While I was not satisfied with the results,
it reminded me of how important it is to prepare outfits so I don't waste
time in the mornings...

DO you prepare your outfits ?
or just go with the flow ?

Love the red jacket for some colour! :)

I plan my outfits the evening before, saves me so much time in the morning and means I can be more relaxed as I try things on :)

I plan most of my outfits on Sunday. I put together 5 combos of things that I want to wear that week, then the night before, I pull the accessories and tights. It usually works, and it gives me the freedom to have a selection of what to wear each day without feeling I'm totally locked into an outfit that I put together the night before.

I am not looking forward to tomorrow (real Monday) because pretty much everyone will be back in the office from the holidays and that means the break is really over! ;o)

I think you should be really happy with this look. The skirt is a lovely print and I love the touch of red. I try my very best to plan my outfits the night before but I often can’t decide what to wear and usually feel like I have nothing to wear. I usually have a reserve outfit in mind the night before in case I can’t think of anything better to wear through the night or early in the morning. I think that is a good way to do it.

Generally speaking, I'll give my outfits at least a few minutes of forethought (sometimes far more - I've been known to plan outfits months in advance for special events and holidays), as I generally like the way they come out much more if I do. Sometimes though, especially if plans change on the fly, I go with the flow and just wing. That was the case with my red and white halter dress ensemble for our Christmas photo shoot this season and I absolutely loved how it (the outfit) came together.

I think your look really lovely - very polished and sophisticated - here, dear Lorena.

You are being hard on yourself. You look great. I love the Red Blazer. That White Dress for NY Eve was gorgeous on you as well. I almost never prepare outfits ahead of time, exception being special occasions. =)
