Extra

Have you ever been an extra for a film ?

Style & Co. brown jeans - cream Merona top -
Leopard flats Me Too - Black bag Tous
A few weeks ago as I walked for breakfast
I decided to stop at a place they were having
castings for extras for a movie being filmed.

At first I laughed at the thought and then I figured
"this could be an interesting experience".
I was casted once as a child and made my
tv debut for a Barbie doll ad but that was about it.

I went to the casting and was called back for a shoot
on Sunday, my role was a "walker". They did
my hair and make up 70's style and then the costume:
bright yellow polyester trouser and matching polyester top.
I sat in the set with a great crowd of people who looked like
they just stepped off a That 70's Show episode.
But, was never called to the set nevertheless it was
quite interesting to see a 70's version of myself.

Wow, that sounds like a lot of fun, even if they didn't use you. I have never been in a film, but they film movies in my town a lot.

ha! i wish you had pics! would love to see them!

i have never been an extra in any kind of production. when i was little (about 4 years old), i had a chance to be on a tv show that i loved. but i turned it down because i was way too shy (and camera-shy too). turns out i still am!

I almost was an extra (twice). My brother has been on movies as a baby, in Albania, between 4 weeks to 2 years old, in several of them. He could pass for both a boy or a girl. He was stunning and still is.

I am glad you got to experience the whole makeup process of it. I wish you had pics.

One more reason why I love your blog: you always have the most interesting stories. Seriously.
