Checkered

I have been giving this jacket some thought.

Black trousers  - Black and white jacket Charter Club - Black button down shirt Da Moda by Periority - Daniblack shoes
I never wear it, its kind of stiff, the cord does not tie at
the exact waist but somewhere in between...
but, I am not sure if I should let it go.

What do you think ?

I think I like it! Makes your waist look skinny and I like that its checkered:)

Have you tried it with a wide belt? That may help the waist a bit? I like the fun print - checked is never out of style.

I think it's a nice printed jacket!

If you aren't enjoying wearing it though, best to make room for another jacket you'd like more! :)

The jacket is a nice idea but I believe you can probably find a similar one that fits you better and does what this one is trying to do. So, you could look around to see if there's another out there to replace this one with. Otherwise, you can keep this.

BTW, I'm thinking nice thoughts today about how lovely you are.

My first thought is that the classic black and white checkered pattern lends it a great bit of a vintage (50s) vibe, and thus I'd want to hang onto it personally. It's classic for sure and would no doubt work with a lot of different outfits, but if your heart isn't into it, perhaps it's best to send it on to a new home.

The print is cute, and the cinched waist gives it a nice shape, but sometimes it does not matter how it looks, but how you feel. More often than not, I am drawn to things which are not logical.
