My first peplum

This is my first peplum garment.
Black trousers - Burgundy peplum top H&M - Moleca black suede shoes - Kenneth Cole Reaction bag - Elastic snake belt
I have been seeing peplum for a looong time now
and was not fully convinced on how it would look on me.

I mean really... who needs ruffly like volume added to their mid section ?

It looks wonderful on you! It shows off your teeny tiny waist!

I think the blouse looks gorgeous, especially with that incredible belt! Totally fab. I think it's less about adding volume to the mid section, but off setting the waist/hip ratio to create an exaggerated hourglass.

It look amazing on you! It actually de-emphasises the hip and puts all the focus on the waist, which is high, making your legs look longer. Love it - it totally suits you.

I love that peplum on you; maybe it's because of the belt, but that is the first one I have seen that looks natural and not stiff and trendy. Really pretty!

I love this top and this look. I pinned it. One of your best outfits of 2012 for sure. I have actually seen this H&M top on another blogger (tall, lanky & thin) but I love it much more on you.
