Waiting for my ride

Today I was up earlier than usual
as I had to catch a ride to work.

I could have walked but, why would I if
I could get a ride ?

    Yeah, I totally drive more than I walk, but I could never walk to work.
    Aside from the fact that it's 20 mins away on the highway, I'd have to bring a change of clothes if I walked because I'd be a sweaty mess.
