While browsing at a 2009 Chadwicks catalogue 

last  year I came across this look:

I ripped the page out and then I placed it in 

my "inspiration box".

I've had this page in my hand so many times 

(you can tell by the wear)

and with it I have stared endlessly at my closet 

looking for items to replicate it.

Then I realized I did not have a turquoise jacket, red beaded

necklaces or a similar animal print top so

I just switched the colors and patterns around a bit

and came up with today's look:

Cable & Gauge cardigan· Red lips Shoes

I like the look so much better in person, I think it does not photograph well :(

While looking at the pictures I wondered if the slit of the back of the skirt is work

appropriate... What do you think ?
