J. Crew Fall 2009 catalogue image and me this morning.
I needed inspiration !
So once again I searched my magazine clippings.
I live in a tropical place, so one layer was enough even though
I did find a piece in my wardrobe to do the black layer.
I feel kind of odd as I almost never wear sneakers....

I have to say that it's not only the sneakers, I feel off in this outfit.
But, I had to get out of my comfort zone and try something else.
If you do not try, you will never know.

We need to experiment with new things to discover what works. Knowledge is good, even when it comes from mistakes.

it is good to try new stuff, but sometimes it sure does feel strange.
ReplyDeletei don't wear high shoes very often, as flats and low sandals are just easier to get around in, and i am already tall. yesterday and today i have worn high wedges and i look more sophisticated. and it feels like people look at me differently. humph. might have to do it more often!
